By accessing or using SCF Viewer (“the Service”), operated by SCF Connect (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SCF Viewer provides compliance intelligence tools built on the Secure Controls Framework (SCF). The Service enables users to browse security controls, explore framework mappings, visualize control relationships, and interact with an AI-powered assistant for compliance guidance. The Service is designed for informational and operational purposes and does not constitute legal, regulatory, or professional compliance advice.

3. User Accounts

Access to the Service is by invitation only. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service
• Redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit SCF data obtained through the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
• Use the Service to generate content that is misleading, harmful, or violates applicable law

5. Intellectual Property

The Secure Controls Framework content, including controls, mappings, and related data, is the intellectual property of the SCF Foundation and is used under license. The SCF Viewer application, its design, code, and user interface are the property of SCF Connect. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. The information provided through the Service, including AI-generated responses, does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SCF Connect and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, regardless of the theory of liability.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
